CMCA Conference Call

The Carbon Markets Compliance Association (“CMCA”) will be hosting a conference call on Tuesday, July 19th at 12:30PM PPT to discuss California’s 2030 Target Scoping Plan. On July 12th, 2016 the California Air Resources Board ("ARB") released a draft Scoping Plan in which the post 2020 future of the Cap-and-Trade program is discussed. We will discuss analysis of the document and its potential ramifications on California’s Cap-and-Trade program.
The Conference call will feature expert guest speakers, Jon Costantino, Senior Adviser at Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP and Clare Breidenich, Director, Western Power Trading Forum GHG Committee.
Jon Costantino works in the Sacramento Government practice group. He manages complex political and regulatory issues for clients in the areas of climate change, clean energy and environmental issues and previously served as Climate Change Planning Manager within the Office of Climate Change at the California Air Resources Board (“ARB”).
Clare Breidenich is an independent consultant with 20 years' experience on greenhouse gas regulation and policy. As the Director of the Western Power Trading Forum's GHG Committee, she has been actively involved in the development and implementation of California's cap and trade program, particularly as it impacts the electricity sector.
